Tips ‘n’ Tricks: Pretty Polaroids

Using the new coloured text box feature and the border tool in our 3.3 software you create your very own mock-polaroids.

Step 1 – Place your chosen image where you want your polaroid to be (landscape images work best).

Step 2 – Right click on your image and go to “Edit borders”. In the window the window that opens set up a thick white border.

Step 3 – Create a new text box and give it white background. Now position it just beneath your image and stretch it to be the same width.

Step 4 – Create a second text box, enter your caption and position it over your white text box.

Step 5 – If you want to make the polaroid look really realistic, rotate the image and text boxes to have it at a slight slant.

That’s it – you now have your own pretty polaroid!
